Lamp makeover

I painted this lamp using several coats of Annie Sloan chalk paint in Provence

and rubbed clear and Dark wax all over it.

The Lamp was black and I am remolding my bedroom and wanted to save money,

So I thought I would try painting my existing lamps. They are metal so I was not sure how they would turn out, but this amazing chalk paint sticks to anything! I loved the way they turned out

I have not blogged forever, been so busy working. But I have fallen in love with Annie Sloan Chalk paint. And I finished painting some pieces, and could not be more happy with the results! I can't wait to do more pieces, my next big project will be my out dated bedroom set!
