A visit to Breckenridge, CO

One of my favorite shops to visit is Marigold's Farmhouse Funk and Junk.
If your ever in the area she has an affordable shop with so many cute things.

The town of Breckenridge is in the process of building an ice castle that will be 50 feet high.

Americana Wreath

I was looking on Pinterest the other day at the Americana stuff. I came across a beautiful wreath some one was selling for 119 on Etsy. I decided to give it try to make one my self, under $20.00
And here is mine!
I got the wreath at Hobby Lobby for 3.00 after the 40% off coupon, which is always on their website.
The welcome star was 3.20 at Michaels, I also got the berries there.
The flag was from The Old Country Store in Morrison, CO

French Chic Bench

I found this bench at an estate sale near my house. I painted it with Graphite Annie Sloan chalk paint, with clear and dark wax. Then I just recovered it with some burlap I had on hand.
I love the transformation, hope y'all do as well!

New item finally

It has been awhile since I have had time to paint any of these pieces cluttering up my house. But finally got one completed yesterday and another one touched up, to add two more pieces to my booth.

This table is done with a mixture of 3  different Annie Sloan chalk paints, French linen, Paris grey and old white.

Enjoy!

1920's Antique Chair Makeover

I found these beautiful 1920's antique chairs on Craigslist. And I knew they had great potential!
I am so happy with the way they turned out. I painted them with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint in, Old White. Then I put a clear wax coat over the paint with light distressing.
